Dining at Taco Naco:

During our Kansas City adventure, Taco Naco quickly became one of those places you simply have to try. From the outside, it may appear unassuming, but step inside and you’ll find a cosy, welcoming spot serving up seriously impressive food.

With locations in both Westport and Overland Park, it’s an easy addition to any Kansas City food itinerary, whether you’re exploring the city centre or venturing further out.

Atmosphere & Setting:

Taco Naco offers a relaxed and cosy setting, with a laid-back vibe that perfectly suits its street food roots. It’s not overly polished or formal—instead, it focuses on creating a welcoming environment where the food takes centre stage.

The intimate feel adds to its charm, making it a great spot to unwind and enjoy a casual meal packed with flavour.

What We Ordered:

The menu at Taco Naco is a celebration of bold flavours and indulgent comfort food. We started with the Loaded Nachos, a towering plate of crispy chips topped with nacho cheese, beans, corn, pico de gallo, jalapeños, and your choice of meat—an absolute flavour explosion.

Next up were the Tater Tots—a must-try American classic—crispy, golden, and incredibly satisfying.

For mains, we both opted for burritos, generously filled and perfectly wrapped, delivering a balanced mix of textures and flavours in every bite.

To finish, we couldn’t resist the churros—crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and coated in cinnamon sugar. The perfect sweet ending to an already fantastic meal.

Service & Overall Experience:

Service at Taco Naco was friendly, welcoming, and efficient. The team created a relaxed atmosphere that made it easy to settle in and enjoy the experience.

There’s a clear passion behind the food here, and that energy carries through to the overall experience—making it feel like more than just a quick bite, but a place you genuinely want to return to.
