“Stepping into Pizzeria Luca, you’re immediately enveloped in a sense of warmth and comfort. The wooden tables, dim lighting, and charming decor of plants and trinkets create an inviting, homely atmosphere that feels like a warm embrace. The staff’s friendliness only enhanced this experience; despite being fully booked, they managed to find us a cosy window seat, adding to the intimate and snug ambience.
The highlight of our weekend in Copenhagen was undoubtedly the food. The pizzas at Pizzeria Luca are nothing short of phenomenal. While I haven’t been to Italy to compare, these pizzas must be close to the real deal! The dough, cold-raised for 72 hours, offers a unique texture that sets these pizzas apart. We savoured the ‘Parma E Bufala,’ topped with Parma ham, buffalo cheese, and rocket, and the ‘Polpetta E Parmigiana,’ featuring fior di latte, beef meatballs, parmigiana, and parsley. Each bite was a revelation. At around 150kr (just under £11) per pizza, the value is exceptional for such high-quality, homemade fare. Truly, a bang for your buck!”
