London. Never have I felt any more out of place. The reason for the trip to London? Taylor Swift, The Era’s Tour. Watched my millions across the globe, we were one of the lucky few who got hold of tickets, rarer than gold dust. We live in the county of Somerset, England. Filled with rolling hills, farmers and their fields, and plenty of livestock…like living on one great big farm really! We have Bristol nearby, which is a lovely city. Plenty of nice architecture, street murals and plenty of options to eat.
But London didn’t quite suit us. It was for a mix of reasons. It’s busy, and I mean, all the time busy, there didn’t seem to be a quiet spell. The prices of everything are more expensive as it’s the capital. The ever-growing knife crimes in London are also a worry for many as well as street gangs. We enjoyed ourselves whilst we were there, visited a few museums, had some good food and saw Tay-Tay. But I vouched to never go back again. Just not my cup of tea.
