If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?

Now this is a good question for a travel blog. In all honesty there is probably a few places I would love to live, so I will split them up into seperate bullet points.

  • Havana, Cuba. Much like a few of these entries, this one is based on a video game I played whilst growing up. It was a game called Driver, and one of the games in the series took you to Havana. Colourful city streets filled with big American cars, beaming with a glorious golden sun.
  • Miami, USA. Another one linked to a video game. Growing up I absolutely loved GTA: Vice City…yes, I was underage whilst playing it, cool parents let their kids play video games like this. Anyway, everything about this game made me want to, one day, visit Miami. The beaches, the tropical setting, the architecture, the cars, the glamour, and when you combined all of that, with an awesome 80s soundtrack, it was pure bliss in my eyes.
  • Kansas City, USA. This brings back memories. We have friends in KC, and we actually got a chance to visit them from here, in the UK, last year. We made so many memories, visited so many places. We fell in love with the city, we loved everything about it. We loved the downtown area, with the different districts. We loved the all American style “white picket fence” suburbs. We loved the transport system. We loved all the different museums and attractions on offer, and we for sure loved the food. It was perfect.
  • Edinburgh, Scotland. Finally, Edinburgh. We have only just come back from our trip in Edinburgh, Scotland, and many times during our stay we found ourselves saying just how much we loved the city. Cobbled streets brimming with history, unique shops around every corner, another well connected city, with trams taking your right the way across. The new town and old town, both different in their own ways, but both housing wonderful shops and architecture. We even had a conversation about moving to Edinburgh in the distant future.
  • A Cruise Ship. We love cruising, have been on 4 to date, with 3 more currently booked, all for next year. We love how easy it is to visit different countries across the space of a week, whilst living in a huge luxurious ship in between visiting countries. Everything you need in one place. Our favourite ship is P&O’s Iona, which has 15+ bars, 10+ restaurants, a cinema, pools, gym, spa, and a whole lot more.

Where could you see yourself living? Does any of the above take your fancy? Comment down below!
