Beaches or mountains? For me, it’s a hard choice. Beaches offer the alure of golden sand, clear blue waters, and a place to relax. For me, one of my top destinations I want to visit is the French Riviera. Nice, Monaco, St Tropez and many more towns make up the French Riviera, and it has been a place I have had my eye on for a few years now. Hopefully 2026 will be the year we get to go.
On the other hand, I do enjoy visiting mountainous areas. A few weeks back we visited Scotland, we stayed in Edinburgh but on one day we hired a car and headed into the Scottish Highlands, straight through Glencoe, it was absolutely stunning. It blew us both away with the sheer scale. So for me, I would happily take either. But, based on where I want to go in the next few years, there are more beach destinations (all in the French Riviera) that I want to visit.
