We have been in our new home for around 18 months. It is a newly built home, so there wasn’t a lot of DIY to do. In the last few months, we have started to do some painting, adding a colourful feature wall to a couple of the rooms. So although it doesn’t sound that ambitious, for us newbies in the DIY world, it definitely presented some challenges, especially doing the edges of the wall and trying not to get paint on adjacent walls or the ceiling. We do have future plans for more DIY, we want to turn our under-stairs cupboard into a larder, with added shelves.
