We are just four days away from our first-ever two-week cruise. My husband and I have done around five week-long cruises, but this is our first foray into fortnightly cruises. We will head to 2 stops in Portugal, 4 Canary Island stops and 1 in mainland Spain. The ports are the following: Madeira, La Palma, Gran Canaria, Tenerife, Lanzarote, Lisbon and Cadiz. All of these ports are completely new to us, as well as the ship…this is our first time onboard P&O’s Brittania ship. All of our previous cruises with P&O Cruises have been onboard the Iona ship, so we will see how we find Brittania. Iona and Arvia are P&O’s newest ships, and therefore have more dining options, more drinking options and more onboard entertainment, however they are bigger, and therefore carry a lot more passengers, so it may be nice to go on a slightly smaller ship.
Anyway, as we will be away, we won’t be posting as often during our holiday. Perhaps they’ll be one or two midweek posts regarding how the trip has been so far, and there will be a few more before we go on Friday.
