My husband and I are passionate about cruises and have enjoyed six wonderful voyages over the past few years. We are thrilled to announce that our next adventure is just around the corner in July, when we will explore the beautiful Mediterranean. This will be a first-time experience for both of us, as neither of us has visited this part of Europe.

In anticipation of our upcoming cruise, I have decided to create a series of blog posts showcasing the unique charm of each port we will be visiting. From must-see attractions and hidden gems to the best places to eat, join us as we embark on this exciting journey together. Day 10: Barcelona
Day 11: Sea Day
Day 12: Cadiz

Day 13: Sea Day
Day 14: Sea Day
Day 15: Back at Southampton

Toulon, Things To Do & Places To Eat:

Toulon Cable Car to Mount Faron: Viewpoint looking over the city
Musée National de la Marine: Display of French Naval history from the 17th century up to today.
Plages du Mourillon: Artificial sandy beaches with eateries and space for volleyball.
Stade Mayol: RC Toulon has been one of the best rugby clubs in the world in the last decade.
Port de Toulon: Have a wander round the marina and check out the many boats that are moored up.
French Navy: They use it as one of their main bases. If you’re lucky, you’ll see their Aircraft Carrier moored.
La fabrique à donuts Toulon: Great coffees, even better doughnuts.
Les Tables de la Fontaine: If you’re after a traditional dish, why not try Bouillabaisse?
À La Folie: Artisanal gelato shop, rated as one of the best in the city.
Circuit Paul Ricard: If you’re an F1 fan, nearby is the circuit, home to the French Grand Prix.
Place de la Liberté: Square near the harbour, the Fontaine de la Fédération sits within the square.
Jardin Alexandre 1er: Lovely park not too far from the square.
