I’d like to think that I have a few hobbies and interests that I am good at, some come in handy with this blog, some are more suited for around the house.
- Using Google Maps: I got into using Google Maps for reviewing during its peak, and have racked up over 8,000,000 views across my reviews on the platform. I enjoy leaving honest opinions that will help people make choices in the future. On top of this, I love using all the features of the platform, from checking opening hours, planning a route or working out train and bus times. All of this I excel in.
- Baking: At a young age, I used to go round to my grandparents on an afternoon during school holidays, and my Nan would teach me to cook and bake with her. We would cook things such as Sausage Plaits and Chicken Curry, and we would bake all sorts. Viennese Whirls, Sponge Cakes, Chocolate Cakes, Fruit Loaf, it’s where I learnt the skills that I have today. Even today, I still use the same cookbook that she used for things my parents enjoy, such as the Fruit Cake and Rock Cakes.
- Gaming: I’ve been a gamer since a young age, donning a PlayStation 1, playing the likes of Spyro the Dragon & Crash Bandicoot, and watching my Dad play Tomb Raider in the evenings. In my teenage years, it was the thing that I did the most, playing the likes of Call of Duty, Battlefield & Rocket League…am I as good as I was back then? Hell no, if I play multiplayer games these days, I have the reaction of a sloth. These days, single-player games are more my vibe, and at that, it’s the likes of House Flipper & PowerWash Simulator!
