Holidays, Water & A Holiday Booked…
Daily writing prompt
What’s the one luxury you can’t live without?

Well, now I think about it, there is probably more than one luxury I could live without. We must also remember that what I consider a luxury may not be what others consider a luxury. Here is a list of luxuries that I couldn’t live without.

  • A Holiday: We love tasting and trekking, and we wouldn’t be able to do the latter without a holiday. It doesn’t matter if it’s a cruise, a European city break, a trip over the pond to America, or a staycation. At least one holiday a year is nice.
  • My Xbox: I’ve been a gamer for many a year, and I use it daily (not purely for gaming, but for streaming as well).
  • Drinking Water: You may think it’s a strange entry, but there are plenty of people in the world without safe drinking water, and, being that I only drink water, having safe drinking water is a luxury!
  • Music: Imagine a world where you can’t play music in the background?! I hate pottering around tidying in a quiet environment, I need some Meatloaf, Motorhead or Machine Gun Kelly playing in the background to keep me going.

That is literally just a handful of examples of what luxuries I couldn’t live without. What about you, what can you not live without, and do we have any in common?

In other news, we have booked our final holiday of the year, which is a short 3-night break in Dublin. We haven’t visited Ireland, so it will be nice to cross off another new country this year. We are already looking ahead at things that we are going to do, and we want to tick off a few more alcohol tours. So far we have visited the following breweries/distilleries.

  • Boulevard Beer
  • Healeys Cyder Farm (known for Rattler)
  • Holliday Distillery
  • Johnnie Walker
  • Goddard’s Brewery
  • Mermaid Gin
  • Heineken

Hopefully, we will add Guinness to the list alongside Jameson’s Whisky.
