Our Plans for Dublin + Our Competition Ends Tonight

So we are heading to Dublin in 4 weeks time and we already have some plans in place whilst we are there. We are also currently debating if we do a day road trip, similar to what we did in Edinburgh where we explored the Scottish Highlands for a day. Here is our current day-to-day plan of our 4 day adventure to Dublin.

Day 1: We don’t arrive into Dublin airport until around 5pm, so by the time that we get through security etc, we should be into the city centre for 6.30pm-ish. We haven’t pencilled in anything for an evening meal that day, but we may visit Newbridge farm, which is hosting a Halloween pumpkin trail.

Day 2: On Tuesday we will probably head to Trinity College to have a look around, and we’ll get breakfast on the way. We were going to visit The Book of Kell’s but they are currently cleaning/updating it, so the majority of the books are currently in storage, so we may leave that for this visit. After that we will explore some of the shopping areas, before heading to Bambino’s and Cookie Boy for lunch. We will then visit St Stephens Green and potentially Jameson’s Whisky, depending on time before going back to the hotel to get changed. In the evening we have a gig watching Pale Waves, and then after that we will head to a speakeasy for some cocktails.

Day 3: Wednesday morning we will explore the dockside areas stopping for breakfast and coffee along the way. For lunch we will visit Thunder Road Café, before making our way to the Guinness Store House and then John Bishop in the evening. After that we will have a stroll round Temple Bar, stopping for some music and a drink.

Day 4: The last day, this is the day we may do a road trip. If we do, we will explore nearby Castle’s, and spooky spots, seeing as it will be the day before Halloween. The other option is exploring cute little seaside towns. If we don’t do a road trip, then we may visit Phoenix Park and check out the zoo and see if we can spot the local deer.

Don’t forget, today is the last day you can enter our competition which is celebrating us hitting multiple milestones. Up for grabs is a £10 Amazon voucher, or a Love to Eat voucher, depending on location. All you have to do is be following by midnight tonight to be in with a chance.
