There is a few risks I would love to take but haven’t been able to. Firstly, I would love to make my blogging about food and travel into a job, where I get paid to feature certain restaurants, hotels, cafes etc. Meaning that I can travel for a job, I mean, how good would that be?! I would love nothing more than going to Helsinki as an example and showcasing multiple hotels, restaurants and attractions and getting the expenses paid by those companies that are using me as advertising.
Another risk I would love to take, if it was financially possible, would be to open up my own shop which specialises in books and records, which has its own little café where I can serve my home made cakes and cookies.
Today we had a little trip to Castle Cary where we stopped at Burnt Honey for breakfast, this venue specialises in Australian breakfast cuisine. After that we then stopped in Danela’s bakery and grabbed some of their signature doughnuts (I used to grab these every now and then on the way back from school when I was younger, so they have a nostalgic feel to them). We ended the day out with a visit to The Newt in Bruton where we saw the rutting deer up close as well as watching some Cyder being pressed. Great Autumnal vibes.
That will be getting posted soon, so make sure you follow to stay up to date with our travels and what we get up to. Next week we are off to Dublin, which seems to of come around really quick, so we will be posting about that holiday too.
*Sidenote, if you have any tips on making my blog professional and getting paid to travel to review places, please do let me know 🙂
