You’d think that being a food and travel blog that my favourite subjects at school would of been Food Tech or Geography. In fairness, I did enjoy Geography, but it wasn’t my absolute favourite. I had an instant disliking to Food Tech when we had to bring in lentils for a lesson one day. We were in the library the period before and another pupil found it funny to open my bag, pull out the lentils, open them and chuck them everywhere, and I got the blame for it and had to clean up the mess. Knowing full well it was nothing to do with me, so that instantly put me off the subject.
My favourite subjects ended up being the ones taught by my favourite teachers. I remember loving IT because of our teacher’s Mr Atkins & Mr Day, as well as Graphical Design, as I enjoyed being taught by Miss Dunt. Overall, I would have to say that I enjoyed Graphical Design the most. Quite laid back, fun projects, great teacher.
Our Next Adventure Is…
As you know we have just recently got back from our first adventure in Ireland, spending 3 nights in the city of Dublin. We loved our time there, got to see plenty of landmarks & museums, as well as eating our way through the city, and we of course had to have the obligatory Guinness! So where is our next adventure taking it?
Well, it’s another new country for us, and it’s one that is going to fill the American hole that we have been hoping to fill for a while now. It’s Canada’s own concrete jungle…Toronto! We will be going to Toronto in February, so it’ll be bitterly cold, but we can’t wait to get there already. We already have some plans falling into place, and I am already compiling a list of places to eat at.
Have you been to Toronto? Perhaps you live there? Comment down below places we MUST visit, whether it’s food, drink or something to do. We’ll add it to our expanding list!
