Our Upcoming Holiday: Toronto

Good morning, good afternoon and good evening, wherever you happen to be reading from. It’s almost that time of year where my husband and I go on a holiday to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We loved exploring Kansas City back in 2023 and we wanted to have the same sort of vibe, exploring a diverse city with differing neighbourhoods. At first we were looking at other American cities, places such as Boston, Nashville & Miami came up, but we ended up going with Toronto.

Some of the reasons included that it is another country ticked off our list, it has plenty of different neighbourhoods with unique styles and the potential for snow. Of course, the price had to be right too, and it was a good deal we got at the Radisson Blu right on the waterfront, perfect location for us. Anyhow, I am now planning our itinerary, with things to do and places for food (of course!). There is just so much choice in Toronto, it’s like a melting pot of cuisine! I think I have 45+ coffee shops pinned on Google Maps, and around 25+ dessert places, no way we will visit all of those in 5 days, but it gives us a good selection to choose from.

Canadians…Any Tips & Advice

If you live in Canada, or Toronto specifically, drop us your favourite places to visit, whether it’s a restaurant, a rooftop bar, a book shop. We want to explore the best that Toronto has to offer!

What do you complain about the most?

Thankfully, my husband doesn’t read this blog too much, so I can get away with saying….”him” haha! My biggest gripe is when he does the washing up, leaves one random spoon in there, and then just lets the dishwater sit overnight and I have to come along and fish it out of the water….
