Good morning, good afternoon and good evening, wherever you happen to be reading from. Welcome to today’s Daily Prompt, all about candy, which I believe is the American term for chocolate. I, personally, am a chocoholic, I love the stuff. Chocolate bars, chocolate cake, hot chocolate, if there’s chocolate, I’m there. Here in the UK there are so many different types of chocolate bar, and I will mention my top 10, the list will also include some chocolate bars that have since been discontinued.
- Cadbury Dairy Milk – The classic, the original, the go-to plain milk chocolate bar
- Cadbury Boost – Biscuit, Caramel, Nougat, all drenched in chocolate
- Cadbury Flake – Flaky chocolate, it’s a mess, but it’s delicious
- Cadbury Twirl – A flake, but covered in more chocolate!
- Malteasers – Malty balls covered in chocolate
- Animal Bar – A discontinued chocolate bar from my childhood, chocolate shaped as animals
- Milky Way – Nougat bar covered in chocolate
- Magic Stars – Little chocolatey stars with faces on them
- Caramac – Another discontinued product. A caramel chocolate, in my view, one of the first original “caramilk” style bars.
- Mars Planets – The final discontinued product. A selection of chocolate balls, some plain chocolate, some biscuity, some similar to Malteasers, and some filled with toffee.
