For those of you who have read some of my blogs, you know that we review food. We are predominantly UK-based, but we have travelled to European countries and Kansas City in America. So it would be no surprise that if I were to open a shop, it would sell some kind of food. But not just food.
My husband is an avid music listener and listens to music whenever he possibly can, he’s my in-car DJ, but he also loves vinyl. He has too many to even bother counting. Still, slowly over time I have come to appreciate vinyl records, and not just the records themselves, but the album artwork is also essential. So, I could see myself selling vinyl records, with odd miscellaneous music bits, like apparel, alongside a little cafe inside selling my freshly baked goods and hot and cold drinks. The decor would be in pastel colours, think creams and light tones of green, like sage. Mixed in with this the vinyls would be displayed in wooden crates on a light wooden table frame. Plenty of plants to help make the place feel natural and fresh. The walls would have band logos painted onto the walls, dotted around, but simplistic. No big flashy logos, no bold colours. All are very scaled back and basic.
We have visited a few record shops that have cafes, but I have yet to review them on this blog, but we have visited plenty of other cafes. Feel free to check out some of them on our website. You can also find our social media down below. Feel free to subscribe to the blog, or on social media, all the views, likes, subscriptions and follows help to make the site what it is. I have many more ambitions for Taste Trekker!
