Nestled in Brent Knoll, just a hop, skip, and a jump from Burnham-On-Sea, Ollie’s Cafe has become our go-to spot. We’ve lost count of our visits, but one thing’s for sure – their cooked breakfasts have us hooked! And it’s not just about breakfast. Watching your waistline? Dive into a jacket potato or a fresh salad. Popped in for lunch? Treat yourself to a hearty curry or classic fish and chips. With so many delicious options, Ollie’s Cafe has something for everyone!

“The star attraction at Ollie’s Cafe? Their breakfast, hands down! You simply have to try it to understand why it’s such a hit. My top pick? The Mighty Breakfast! Picture this: 2 sausages, 2 bacon, 2 fried eggs, 2 hashbrowns, a flat mushroom, beans, half a tomato, and toast – the perfect fuel for the day ahead. Here’s a little secret: I’m not a fan of tomatoes, but you can swap items. I always trade mine for extra hashbrowns, and guess what? They give you two, so I end up with four! *The only downside for me personally is that I don’t enjoy flat mushrooms; I prefer the smaller closed-cup mushrooms, just a personal preference.*”
If you fancy breakfast, but maybe not a full English, then why not try sausage, egg, chips and beans, or maybe waffles or teacake? Maybe you’ve turned up just gone lunch and don’t fancy breakfast at all? Then you can try their chicken burger, scampi & chips or ham, egg & chips. They also do a selection of jacket potatoes, salads & sandwiches. So there will be an option for everyone. They can also cater for your dietary needs as well.
The atmosphere is just lovely, with families catching up over breakfast, builders fueling up for the day, and friends sharing stories over coffee. The staff are super friendly, always ready to show you to your table and cater to your needs. And if you have a friendly dog, they’re welcome too – no reason they can’t enjoy a cheeky sausage as a treat!

Gourmet Gauge:
Great prices for a variety of breakfast items. Service is efficient & friendly, and the food always tastes good when we’ve gone. Ambience is pleasant, but could do with a bit of colour added to make the place pop. Fully recommend for a breakfast stop!
