From the moment you step inside, the friendly staff welcomes you with warm smiles and ensures you’re well looked after throughout your visit. Though the venue is cozy—some might say a little too cozy given its popularity—it exudes a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. Just be sure to plan your visit wisely: arriving during peak times, like lunchtime, might mean a long wait. To skip the queue, aim to visit just before or after the busy hours.
The star of the show here, of course, is the waffles—and what a selection they offer! Sweet-toothed visitors will delight in classics like Cherries & Cream, Banana & Chocolate, or the indulgent trio of ice cream, sugar, and whipped cream. But it’s not just about dessert! The menu also boasts savory options like Mozzarella, Tomatoes & Basil and the hearty Egg, Bacon, Lettuce & Cream Cheese.
During our visit, I couldn’t resist the Chocolate Madness—a decadent combination of chocolate ice cream, chocolate sauce, and whipped cream. My husband went for the Banana Bonanza, while my father-in-law opted for the Chuck Berry. Each of us was thoroughly impressed, and as repeat visitors (it was our second time here!), my husband and I knew exactly why this spot has won our hearts. At around €14 per waffle, the prices felt fair for such a delectable treat.

This time around, we discovered an added bonus—their newly opened shop! A lovely young staff member greeted us with a variety of tasters, enthusiastically sharing their offerings. The real highlight? A sneak preview of their new biscuit creation: a shortbread base topped with a dehydrated waffle. One bite of this blissful treat, and we were hooked—we couldn’t resist buying two packs to take home!
Once again, The House of Waffles has left us with full bellies and happy hearts.
