After landing in Toronto, we kicked things off with dinner at Steam Whistle Brewing, but as is tradition for us, dessert had to be a separate stop. That’s how we ended up at Crumbl Cookies — a place I’d somehow never heard of, despite it apparently being everywhere on social media.

Dining at Crumbl Cookies:
Walking into Crumbl Cookies, you’re immediately hit with that unmistakable smell of freshly baked cookies — warm, sweet, and dangerously tempting. One of the standout features is that everything is baked fresh in front of you, which definitely adds to the appeal.
It’s a streamlined setup, with touchscreens handling most of the ordering process, giving it more of a takeaway feel than a traditional dessert spot. Efficient, but not exactly personal — though that’s clearly not the main draw here.
Atmosphere & Setting:
The décor is clean and minimal, dominated by whites and soft pinks — almost reminiscent of a gelataria. It feels modern and very “Instagram-friendly,” but fairly basic overall, with limited seating and not much reason to hang around.
This is very much a grab-it-and-go kind of place.
What We Ordered:
We opted for three mini cookies:
- Chocolate Brownie Cookie
- Snickerdoodle Cookie
- Peanut Butter Cookie (unfortunately…)
The chocolate brownie cookie was the standout — rich, indulgent, and exactly what you’d hope for. The snickerdoodle was a pleasant surprise too, especially as it’s not a flavour you come across often in the UK — think soft vanilla with a gentle cinnamon warmth.
The peanut butter cookie, however, was a complete miss for us. One bite in and we instantly knew we’d made a mistake — definitely one where checking the ingredients beforehand would’ve helped!
Service & Overall Experience
Staff were friendly, but with the touchscreen ordering system, interaction was minimal. It all felt efficient and well-organised, just lacking that personal touch.
One thing we did get wrong — and it’s worth noting — was taking the cookies back to the hotel in the cold. By the time we ate them, they’d lost that fresh, warm softness and had gone slightly crisp around the edges.
If you’re visiting, eat them straight away — it’ll make a noticeable difference.
Final Thoughts:
Crumbl Cookies is clearly built for the social media era — great presentation, a rotating menu, and that signature pink box that makes it instantly recognisable.
While not every flavour hit the mark for us, the freshness and novelty make it a fun stop, especially if you catch them warm.
Pros and Cons:
- Freshly baked in front of you✅
- Great presentation✅
- Limited seating❌
