If you’ve got a sweet tooth and find yourself in Toronto, there’s a good chance Craig’s Cookies will already be on your radar. Known for its bold flavours, ever-changing menu, and unapologetically indulgent cookie creations, this spot has built a serious following across the city.
With a counter packed full of thick, loaded cookies in every flavour imaginable, it’s the kind of place that makes choosing just one feel like a near-impossible task. Naturally, we had to see if these oversized treats were all style — or if they actually delivered on taste too.
*Unfortunately in the spur of the moment decision in visiting Craig’s Cookies, I apparently forgot to take any images…
Dining at Craig’s Cookies:
In all honesty… this wasn’t planned.
We were wandering through Toronto’s Church & Wellesley district (and yes, we’ll pretend I’ve spelt that right), when we popped into Unholy Donuts to grab a donut.
Literally around the corner… there it was.
Craig’s Cookies.
And when you’re travelling with someone who is a self-confessed cookie fiend, there was only ever going to be one outcome.
Perfect timing to find somewhere cosy.
Atmosphere & Setting:
The shop itself is bright, colourful, and instantly eye-catching — exactly what you want from a place built around fun, indulgent treats.
The display counter is packed with cookies in all sorts of flavours, making it very difficult to just pick one (which, unfortunately for us, is exactly what we had to do).
What We Ordered:
We kept things simple and grabbed a chocolate chip cookie to take away and enjoy later.
Sometimes that delayed gratification just hits different.
Service & Overall Experience
Service was spot on — friendly, efficient, and exactly what you’d expect from a place that clearly gets a lot of foot traffic.
Another easy, no-fuss experience.
Final Thoughts:
The real verdict came later that evening.
Post-dinner. Sweet tooth kicking in. The moment of truth.
And… it delivered.
My husband thoroughly enjoyed it — a big statement considering the number of cookies he got through on this trip. In fact, he rated it higher than the ones we tried at Crumbl, which says a lot.
That said, it didn’t quite take the top spot. Toronto’s own Castle & Coal still holds that crown (a tough benchmark, to be fair).
Price-wise, it felt fair, and with Craig’s Cookies growing from its Parkdale roots to multiple locations across Canada, it’s clearly doing something right.
Would we go back?
Absolutely.
Pros and Cons:
- Delicious, indulgent cookies✅
- Great value for a treat✅
- Hard to choose just one❌
